Long Cockpit Bag

The Long Cockpit Bag is designed for when you need to carry just a bit more than usual, for example a long gravel ride or bikepacking event. I mostly use it to carry electronics and as many Snickers bars as possible. A velcro divider splits the bag in a top and bottom part to keep your stuff in place without sliding around (only on sizes L and above). Most importantly, you can open and close this bag with one hand while riding.

  • The fabrics I use are water resistant, but the process of sewing them together creates small holes every time the needle pierces the fabric. Therefore these bags are never 100% waterproof. In any case I recommend using small drybags to keep your most important gear dry.

    Anecdotally, I trust my phone to go inside the Frame Bag without using an extra dry bag. Generally everything stays pretty dry and also dries out relatively quickly after a night outside in the rain. Gear that is made of water absorbing fabric (like some gloves or a neck gaiter) will often soak of most of the moisture inside and the rest of your gear will stay relatively dry.
