Bucket Bag

One of my personal favorite bikepacking bags is the bucket bag. These are big enough to carry a 1l Nalgene bottle, but because of the floating inside liner I also find them very useful to carry delicate stuff like fresh fruits and veggies, or other food items like a can of beans or a jar of peanut butter. Combine 2 bucket bags on the left and right side of your stem for maximum efficiency.

    • Drawstring closure to keep stuff from falling out

    • Floating liner fabric for carrying delicate items

    • Attachment between fork arms to keep the bag steady on bumpy rides

  • The floating liner design of these bags make them more water resistant than usual. The fabrics I use are water resistant, but the process of sewing them together creates small holes every time the needle pierces through the fabric. Therefore these bags are never fully waterproof. In any case I recommend using small drybags to keep your most important gear dry.
